Kieran Walsh

Kieran Walsh has over 30 years executive, board and management experience in London and Dublin. In late 2018 Kieran was in an accident leaving him paraplegic. In depth knowledge of all funding instruments from money markets to undated subordinated, secured and unsecured. Approved for Board membership and or authorised positions in Ireland, Germany, UK and the FED in New York. Corporate Governance understanding, being Treasurer through a bail out and re-structuring of a €250Bn fixed income portfolio and supporting liability & derivative instruments. Member of EXCO & ALCO at Depfa and Group (HRE) ALCO and remuneration committee. Founded and sold a software company which developed complex pricing and risk management tools personally writing most models in C++ and VBA. Risk management expertise including all strategic, liquidity, banking capital obligations, governance and operational risks. Qualified Accountant with practical experience in preparation of budgets and forecasts. 

Kieran is a member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). He attended University College Dublin, awarded a Batchelor of Commerce and Masters of Business Studies.
